Taiwanese Church Planting Team

This current church-planting work started in 2002 in cooperation with the Reformed Presbyterian Church of Taiwan.  In January of 2003, New Hope Christian Fellowship was started in Taiwan's capital city, Taipei.  In August of that same year, Chidu Hope Church was started in the northeast port city of Keelung.  And finally in January of 2005, Lotus Hill Community Church was started in HsiChi City halfway between Taipei and Keelung.

Current Ministry:
The Lintons are working on building up the three church plants as well as surveying new areas for future work.  Joel is also working towards recruiting and training Taiwanese nationals to partner with missionaries in targeting new areas for church planting.

Future MinistryThe Lintons are seeking to recruit missionaries for two new teams: five church-planting missionaries to focus on the Taiwanese-language areas and five to focus on the Hakka-language areas.  Joel has begun surveying new target areas. For example, one area has a total population of 30,000 Taiwanese speakers living in 12 farming villages, yet currently there are no churches in that entire region.
